Motorcycle Accidents

Under the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law, operators of motorcycles generally have the same rights and duties as operators of other motor vehicles, but they are not treated the exact same by insurance companies. For example, no-fault insurance does not cover a motorcyclist who is hurt in an accident despite that the injuries can be among the most serious. Thus, medical expenses and lost wages that are covered in other accidents need to be addressed in a different manner.
