Construction Accidents
The pain and suffering caused by a devastating construction injury can have a lasting effect on the lives of the victims. Along with the physical pain they may have to endure, victims of construction accidents may also incur a life long condition that radically limits their ability to continue working in this field. Often, more serious injuries significantly alter the quality of life that victims have outside of work.
The Construction Industry
The construction industry is among the largest fields of employment in the U.S. with an estimated 10 million workers in both public and private sectors. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the rate of workplace injury and illness in construction is 3.9 of every 100 employees. And falls remain the most common source of injury in the construction field according to a study conducted by OSHA.
