Truck Accidents

Truck AccidentsTruck accidents can cause some of the most serious injuries due to the size and weight of the truck, among other things. There are special considerations an attorney needs to weigh in evaluating accidents involving trucks. Often the truck drivers are on the job and working within their employment when the accident occurs. Some truck drivers spend their nights driving and get very little sleep throughout the course of their week. Also, truck drivers of certain weight vehicles are required to have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), which subjects them to different standards than an ordinary driver. Plus, the company that employs the truck driver has a responsibility to properly train and monitor their employees. When we represent victims of truck accidents, we thoroughly investigate all aspects of liability – we know that often the real cause of the accident is not what initially meets the eye.
